Through the windows 8 class we will take you through the basic steps that will get you up and running fast.

We will be covering ;

  1. Turn on the machine and log-on to the start screen
  2. move confidently around the desktop, Start screen and menus.
  3. Locate any program pre-installed with Windows 8.
  4. Manipulate windows (close, minimize, maximize, resize, etc…).
  5. Create desktop shortcuts.
  6. Use standard, pre-installed applications and install/uninstall
    programs.
  7. Access external storage devices (CDs, USB drives, etc…).
  8. Use common Mac keyboard shortcut
  9. IE Explorer and Email
  10. Talk you through the logging off and shutting down of the system.
  11. Then after that lot, we will have a Q & A session to cover all we have done and where you can access the resource to help you practice.

Mac IOSx

For the Mac lovers we will be covering the basics to get you quickly moving within your environment.  So by the end of this tutorial, you will be able to:
